Chekmate vs Canva
Canva is a design tool for presentations, social posts, video and print. On Teams and Enterprise plans, Brand Assist checks designs in the Canva editor against your Brand Kit.
Short answer
If your decks are made in Canva, Brand Assist checks them as you design: colours and fonts outside your Brand Kit, plus logos, photos and graphics, with suggestions and auto-fix. It works inside the Canva editor. Chekmate checks PowerPoint and PDF decks made anywhere, reads exact colours, gradients and templates from the file, compares with the brand's website, and gives you a report to send back.
Feature by feature
The Canva column shows what Canva's own website lists, checked on 26 October 2026. "Not listed" means we couldn't find it on their public website that day, not that their product can't do it. Spotted something out of date? Email hello@chekmate.app and we'll correct it.
